CENTRIA + WAS | DFW Airport Terminal C
The 80,000-square-foot terminal was constructed while maintaining uninterrupted airline operations and preserving the passenger experience. To accelerate the construction timeline, the design-build team utilized a modular construction approach. In a first for a U.S. airport, six fully assembled building modules were fabricated offsite and transported approximately one mile across the airfield before being installed at the new terminal location.
To support the modular process, the team specified insulated metal panels from CENTRIA for the exterior façade. These panels allowed for efficient transportation and rapid on-site installation while providing a durable, energy-efficient, and sustainable building envelope solution.
